Septima Clark was an educator and organizer who transformed access to education into political power. Through Citizenship Schools, she equipped ordinary people with the tools to read, register, and vote, directly challenging systems designed to exclude them. Her work fueled the Civil Rights Movement at its roots, even as she was pushed out of public education for demanding equity.
This design does not borrow her lessons.
It marks how education built the movement.
