Audre Lorde was a writer, poet, and activist who used language as a tool for survival and resistance. Her work named the inseparability of race, gender, sexuality, and power, and challenged the silences maintained within feminist, civil rights, and academic spaces.

This design does not extract her words.
It carries the structure of her refusal.
